For many years, when speaking to the Brazilian media, Chelsea winger Willian has been asked about a possible return to his home country.

The player has always said that was not in his plans, since he loves the life he has in Europe and has many options to continue playing there.

The last time he said this was in an interview with Radio Transamerica this week, claiming he has big affection for his former club Corinthians, but doesn’t fancy a return.

Still, according to website Meu Timão, Corinthians have recently made an approach to know about the possibility of signing the 31-year-old.

The Brazilian side wanted to know about his wish to return to his home country, the monetary demands and the contract length he’d like. They even offered him the chance of helping the club during the second semester, and returning to Europe in January in case he received a good offer.

However, according to Meu Timão, Willian’s response has been the same as those in his interviews. The Chelsea winger doesn’t like the way players are treated in Brazil, and would rather stay in Europe for now.
