Earlier today, we covered the morning newspaper’s claims regarding Fikayo Tomori.
Gazzetta dello Sport had it as ‘Tomori day’, explaining Milan were doing their best to try and get the defender at the club as early as possible in hope of being able to play him on Saturday against Atalanta.
An agreement had been all but found with Chelsea, and it appears the wheels are firmly in motion since the centre-back is now in Italy.
TuttoMercatoWeb provide everyone with a video of Tomori arriving at Milan’s Malpensa airport, which we can only assume means he’s now set to undertake his medicals ahead of the move being confirmed in the next few hours.
We all know things can go wrong at the last minute in football, but it’s rare for a player to travel unless he’s been told it’s safe to do so.
That is, of course, unless you’re Peter Odemwingie.
