Signed by Manchester United in an €8.5m deal from Peñarol last summer, Facundo Pellistri is still waiting for a chance to feature for the Red Devils.

Despite being taken to the bench in a Champions League game early in the season, the 19-year-old has only been featuring for the reserve squad as he works to draw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attention.

Now it seems he may end up getting some experience elsewhere, according to claims from the Spanish media.

Fichajes writes that Pellistri could be loaned out this month, and they managed to contact the youngster’s agent to confirm that he should be heading to La Liga.

“We’re working on that, surely Spain is the destination,” Edgardo Lasalvia told Fichajes.

Fichajes doesn’t seem to know the name of interested clubs for now, although Manchester United will certainly make sure the youngster joins a side which will give him enough minutes to be in shape.

With Solskjaer currently having the options of Mason Greenwood, Daniel James, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on the wings, Pellistri will have to work more to get a spot in the team.
