Two days ago, Tuttosport stated Manchester United are ready to get serious about Gleison Bremer. The Red Devils aren’t alone and are now joined by Chelsea in the chase for the Juventus star.
The centre-back has been a regular for the Serie A side this season, scoring three goals from 39 games, and his performances have caught Manchester United’s attention.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who add Chelsea are also in the picture for the 27-year-old.
Tutto Juve make it clear this is their original information and state that the Old Lady ‘will eventually evaluate’ his sale, if there’s an offer in excess of €70m. For now, Chelsea are looking at the South American, who is also wanted by Manchester United.
Mauricio Pochettino didn’t rely upon Malang Sarr while Wesley Fofana missed the season due to a serious injury. The latter has struggled with injuries since joining the Blues in 2022. In addition to this, Thiago Silva’s exit from Stamford Bridge has been confirmed.
These factors may see Chelsea sign a new centre-back in the next window, and Bremer could be one of the options for them.
