Fanatik report Fenerbahce are targeting Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata and they could look to move in on the Belgian international before the Super Lig transfer deadline.
The former Manchester City player has become key under Brendan Rodgers and the Celtic manager will want to keep him at the club
However, Fanatik report that after Celtic’s elimination from the Champions League a move to Turkey could now be a possibility for the central defender.
According to Fanatik, Boyata has started following Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Basaksehir on social media and the Turkish newspaper suggest the Celtic man could be interested in a move to Istanbul.
Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are in the market for a defender before next week’s deadline and Boyata seems to be an option for both Turkish clubs. Despite this, Celtic would demand a big transfer fee for the Belgian, which could prove an issue for both the Istanbul clubs.
Boyata has one year left on his current Celtic contract.
