Linked with a move to the Premier League a handful of times, Toulouse’s Christopher Jullien could actually end up in Scotland with Celtic.
According to L’Equipe in France, Celtic, in need of a new centre-back after letting Dedryck Boyata go to Hertha Berlin and Filip Benkovic’s return to Leicester, are interested in his services.
In fact, Jullien is said to have already travelled to visit Parkhead and the training ground as the Scottish Premiership champions appreciate the 26-year-old’s physical attributes (around 6’5”).
The French defender has yet to make a decision on his next destination, but if his trip is anything to go by, perhaps he wouldn’t mind a move to Scotland.
Should that be the case, L’Equipe state Celtic would need to pay somewhere between €8-10m to convince Toulouse of letting their towering defender go, who is contracted to the club until 2021.
Jullien was near ever present for the French side last season, making 34 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring one goal in a 2-1 loss to Monaco back in February.
