Everton are certainly having a busy last day of the summer transfer window.
It was expected they’d be pushing for Yerry Mina, but Catalan reports early on Thursday morning stated an interest in Andre Gomes too.
Barcelona have been trying to get a Premier League club to loan Gomes, feeling it will help increase his value ahead of a future sale.
There’s every chance the Portuguese midfielder was offered to the Toffees and that it helped smooth the Mina deal through. That may be unkind on Gomes, but it’s the reality after a difficult period since his move to Barcelona.
If the footballer can return to his Valencia form then it’ll be great for Everton.
Back to Mina, after his Uncle Jair confirming the Everton move to the Colombian media, he’s now been photographed midway through his medical for the club.
