Bournemouth’s Max Gradel has been strongly linked with a move to Lyon by the English media.
However, those reports have been dismissed by French daily L’Equipe today. It’s reported Gradel wants to leave the club only after a year, but Lyon aren’t interested in his services.
The former AS Saint-Étienne forward doesn’t feature in the plans of Eddie Howe, so Bournemouth are also keen on offloading the Ivorian international.
L’Equipe say Bournemouth are open to the idea of a loan, whilst Gradel would be willing to move to Lyon should they be interested.
The 28-year-old signed for Bournemouth last summer in a €10m move from AS Saint-Étienne. Gradel managed just one league goal last season, and it’d be interesting to see if clubs show interest in signing him ahead of tonight’s deadline.
Lyon interest would be very fortunate for the player, and his agent may have to work some magic for that one to happen.
