Over the past few days, there has been an insistence that AFC Bournemouth are trying their best to sign Justin Kluivert.

The winger isn’t wanted at AS Roma, who are trying to raise funds before June 30th, and the Cherries have an interest in the player.

Not only that, but they still have the opportunity to sign Matias Viña, who was loaned from the Serie A club last season, as recalled by Calciomercato.

He has a €15m option to buy in his contract, and it appears that while Bournemouth are interested, they aren’t willing to pay that much.

The website state that Roma are ‘finalising the sale’ of Kluivert to the Cherries for ‘around €10m’, but as far as the defender is concerned, the Premier League side are seeking a ‘discount’.

Negotiations are currently underway regarding that last part, and there are still a few days left for that to happen before Roma’s deadline is met.

Either way, it appears that Bournemouth are looking to spend a fair chunk of money on two players in the next week or so.
