Matej Vydra has ‘already signed’ for Leeds United and will join the club for £7m in the January transfer window.

That’s the bold claim from Mondo Udinese, who say the forward has already tied up his move to the Championship leaders.

Vydra is currently with Burnley, who he joined from Derby Count in a £10m deal last summer.

However, his time at Turf Moor has not been a happy one, with him managing just 22 appearances and two goals for the club so far.

Recent weeks have seen him linked with a return to the Championship with Leeds, but it’s claimed that move has already been tied up.

Mondo Udinese, who have an interested in the 27-year-old because of his past association with Udinese, say that he’s already completed his move.

According to them, Marcelo Bielsa’s side will complete a £7m move for Vydra in January as they look to push for promotion this year.

Leeds have had a bit of an issue upfront this season with neither Patrick Bamford or Eddie Nketiah proving to be the regular goalscorers they need.

It’s been suggested they would look to add further firepower as a result and Vydra, who was the Championship’s goalscorer in 2017/18 with Derby, is reportedly the man Bielsa has identified to solve the problem.
