Manchester United are one of the clubs who want to sign Birmingham City’s Jude Bellingham this summer.
The 16-year-old has already visited the Red Devils’ training facilities, but that may not be sufficient for them to complete his signing.
Three days ago, Ruhr Nachrichten reported the United target ‘wants and will join’ Borussia Dortmund. It was also explained he will cost the Bundesliga side around £20m.
Kicker now state Lucien Favre’s side have already negotiated a long-term contract with the midfielder, who will turn 17 on Monday, and the starlet has already given his commitment to the German club.
The teenager will ‘at least’ cost Dortmund around €22m, but the deal has still not been concluded because they have not found a full agreement with Birmingham City.
According to the report, Pep Clotet’s side are ‘still hesitant’ to sanction the youngster’s sale to Dortmund because he has aroused interest from other clubs.
It’s claimed Bayern Munich are interfering for the England U17 international’s signing as they have joined the transfer chase for Bellingham.
Whether the Bavarian club will be able to beat Dortmund for Bellingham’s signing remains to be seen.
