Eden Hazard ‘has to take’ the opportunity to join Aston Villa if they offer him a move out of Real Madrid.
That’s according to journalist Alexandre Braeckman, who believes the Belgian can’t afford to turn down a move to Villa Park.
Reports today have claimed that Aston Villa are interested in Hazard, with them planning to strengthen their squad for new manager Unai Emery in the January transfer window.
Those reports claimed that Emery had given his approval to the deal as he believes the Belgian, who has struggled at Real Madrid since moving in July 2019, can significantly improve his side.
Si Aston Ville fait une offre, Eden doit la prendre. Persuadé qu'il peut encore faire des bonnes choses en jouant régulièrement, même sans être le grand Eden de 2018. Mais ça n'arrivera jamais à Madrid. #mercato

That’s debatable given the form he’s shown in Madrid, where consistent injury problems have seen him score just seven goals and register 11 assists in 72 games for the club.
The belief is that he simply needs to get away from the Bernabeu and start again, a sentiment shared by Braeckman.
“If Aston Villa make an offer, Eden has to take it,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Convinced he can still do well playing regularly, even without being the great Eden of 2018. But that will never happen at Madrid.”
