Samuel Iling-Junior has had an interesting few months.
He left Juventus after being on the fringes of the project and was involved in the deal that took Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa to the Bianconeri. At the English club, he hasn’t found much space and he is now set to find his feet somewhere new again.
Iling-Junior will now join Bologna on a loan deal, as the winger looks to seek some game time to continue his development.
SportMediaset have reported today that Iling-Junior has ‘begun’ his medical and this comes at a time when Quotidiano Sportivo claim that he ‘landed’ in the city on Sunday for the processes to begin. The medical, according to them, takes place today.
The move is a loan deal but Bologna will not have any option to buy, as Aston Villa probably want to assess his development later.
An announcement won’t be far away.
