Having failed to sign Dusan Vlahovic a year ago, Arsenal are still reportedly interested in the Serbian striker despite signing Gabriel Jesus in the summer.

The Brazilian had a great start to the season following his transfer from Manchester City, but an injury during the World Cup has left him out of action for a while.

That has shown Mikel Arteta that he might need another top striker next season, especially with Champions League football set to return to the Emirates, meaning the links to the Juventus star make some sense.

The fact Vlahovic has somewhat struggled in Turin under Max Allegri also helps the idea he could leave in the summer, on top of the fact the Serie A side are in the mix of a very complicated off the pitch situation involving a deduction of points in the league.

That means they could miss out on Champions League football, and thus money, leaving them with a need to sell in the summer.

A player like Vlahovic could bring in a lot of cash, and Arsenal are reportedly at the ready in case they get the nod.

That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who look at the player’s situation amid rumours that Bayern Munich are interested, and add that the Gunners, as well as other Premier League sides, ‘remain at the window and are ready to attack if Juventus were forced to downsize next season following the delicate off-field events’.

Still, it would be costly, as the Italians value the Serbia international at ‘no less than €100m’, meaning Arsenal would need to delve deep into their pockets to get this done.
