Two days ago, we covered claims from France Football, who explained Real Madrid have joined the race for Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sport claims that in recent days, the La Liga giants have ‘sounded’ the possibility of signing the 30-year-old. The Gabon international’s contract with the Gunners lasts until 2021.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are looking for a forward in the market and they believe the ex-Borussia Dortmund man can be viewed as a ‘good opportunity’ because of the duration left on his contract.

Aubameyang, who has decided against signing an extension, has asked to leave the north London club in the summer, according to this and and other claims.

This make it ‘very attractive’ for top European clubs like PSG, Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter Milan. Real Madrid are now added to that list.

According to the Catalan newspaper, Real Madrid are probing Aubameyang’s salary demands and the fee needed to complete his signing.

The African wants to wait until June before making any decision on his future and it could be further delayed due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Sport adds Mikel Arteta’s side are ‘clear’ that they need to sell Aubameyang in order to ‘alleviate their financial problems’.

The player’s earlier desire was to play for Barcelona, but it now seems like he’s approaching their arch rivals, Real Madrid.

Even though there isn’t a concrete indication that Aubameyang will end up at Real Madrid, Sport are of the belief that he will not continue at Arsenal.
