In one of the many Instagram live chats this week, Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has talked about his time at the club.
The 28-year-old has spoken to Gli Autogol about the season he’s been having in the Premier League, and didn’t want to feed any rumours about a return to Serie A.
Jorginho started by saying he feels fine at the Stamford Bridge side, with the language being no longer a difficulty for him.
“I’m very happy here at Chelsea. Last year I only spoke in Italian, but this year I have improved my English,” said Jorginho (via Juve News).
Then quizzed about a return to Italy, the midfielder was pretty short about it: “I miss the atmosphere and the food, but as I said, I’m happy here in London.”
Jorginho was also asked about his best memory playing for the Blues, and said: “That is certainly linked to the victory of the Europa League last season.”
Since joining Chelsea in a €57m deal from Napoli in the summer of 2018, Jorginho has been linked with a return to Italy. It’s mostly Juventus who’ve been said to be interested in his signing, even though the player doesn’t seem likely to go anywhere soon.
His contract with the Blues runs until June 2023.
