From January 1st onwards, Aaron Ramsey and his agency will be allowed to talk to any club they want outside of England with a view to a free transfer next summer.
Already making it clear he would not be prolonging his Arsenal adventure, the Welshman now has most of Europe interested in him, as a player of his calibre and age rarely become available for nothing.
Among the clubs allegedly interested are Inter, with their new chief Beppe Marotta, formerly of Juventus, a big fan of the midfielder (already looking at him during his time in Turin).
However, FCInterNews in Italy make it clear, according to their sources, that Ramsey has yet to find an (pre-)agreement (as illegal as it is, we all know it happens) with another club, as time will play in his favour.
Ramsey and his entourage know the longer they wait, the more chance he has to prove himself on the pitch, meaning a good second half of the season with Arsenal could help him earn more money down the line.
As for Inter’s interest, FCInterNews don’t appear to have had it confirmed, mostly going by other reports.
All they know is that Ramsey has yet to make a choice, and he probably won’t decide on anything in the near future.
This could all change if someone comes knocking in January with an attractive offer for both Arsenal and the midfielder, but we’ll deal with that when it happens.
