The agent of new Leicester City signing Molla Wague has confirmed the player is now ready to play for the Foxes following his move from Udinese in January.
Wague is arriving on a loan spell from Spanish side Granada, who have sent the player to the Premier League Champions until the end of the season with an option of a permanent transfer.
Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, representative Christian Emile said: “Molla has played two and a half years in Serie A, an experience that made him grow a lot as a defender.
“He is now ready for the new adventure, at Leicester he will have the chance to play for the English champions and also play in the Champions League.”
The 25-year-old has already played for Leicester City’s U-23 squad on Monday night. He featured in the 90 minutes during the 2-0 win against Southampton.
Wague was part of the Mali team in the African Cup of Nations. He was a starter in all of Mali’s games, and even though they only conceded two goals in the group stage, the attack couldn’t do enough to get qualification to the knock-out rounds.
Considering that Leicester City have already conceded 42 goals in 24 fixtures, the player could certainly be a great addition for the battle against relegation.
