Over the past several months, the Turkish media have been reporting Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Fenerbahçe star Sebastian Szymański this summer.
On June 25th, Aslinda reported the attacking midfielder has agreed a four-year deal with Spurs. It was also said he will undergo medical tests with the north London club once they agree a fee with the Yellow Canaries.
Earlier this week, Akşam reported Tottenham are finalising the deal for the 25-year-old after making an offer of €25m plus bonuses to the Turkish club.
The agent has made it clear that he hasn’t received any proposal from the Premier League side for the Poland international. He has even insisted that his client is likely to stay at Fenerbahçe and play under José Mourinho next season.
“I don’t know anything about Tottenham’s offer for Seb. It’s a journalistic duck. As of today, Szymański is staying at Fenerbahçe. It is possible that nothing will change in this case. We have no pressure at all to transfer,” he said.
Szymański joined Fenerbahçe in July 2023 and signed a contract until 2027. He finished his debut season in Turkey with 13 goals and 19 assists from 55 matches.
According to Meczyki.pl, the player would only be sold by Fener this summer if there is an offer they can’t refuse, and this would be around €25-30m.
