As Adama Traore edges closer to the end of his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers, a new club has become interested in signing him.

Turkish outlet Karadeniz Gazete comes up with a ‘bomb’ report saying Trabzonspor are working to get the 26-year-old signed.

It’s said the club feel like they need big reinforcements in the January window, and with director Abdullah Avci making a list of potential signings, the Wolves player is included.

The Turkish side reportedly got in touch with Traore’s agent Jorge Mendes and are now set to speak about his potential transfer.

The Portuguese representative, by the way, has other clients who may attract interest from Trabzonspor. One of them is Nelson Semedo, whose contract with Wolves expires at the end of the season, even though the club have the right to extend it for two more years.

Mendes also has Marcos Asensio, Angel Di Maria, James Rodriguez and even Cristiano Ronaldo to put on the table, and that’s why the meeting with him is a big deal for the Turkish club.
