Liverpool are reportedly one of the many clubs keeping an eye on Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella.
According to reports from Italy this Monday, there’s a big race being formed for the 21-year-old, who could be leaving the Serie A side for a serious amount of money.
Outlet La Nuova Sardegna claims that Cagliari are waiting for offers of between €40m and €50m to let him go, and that amount seems pretty reasonable if you take a look at the list of clubs who want him.
They list Roma, Juventus, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund as potential buyers, as all would be considering to bid for him in the next summer window.
It’s Roma who would be leading the race, as club director Monchi has just made an approach to know more about Barella’s situation at Cagliari.
Regarding Liverpool’s interest, La Nuova Sardegna says that the player has entered the club’s ‘list of purchases’, which sounds like he’s one more being monitored for the next transfer market.
