Liverpool are one of only two options that Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush will consider when it comes to a transfer.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the forward is also on Bayern Munich’s list of options and considered the ‘cheap’ option at that.
The newspaper reports that Marmoush is ‘currently causing a stir’ in the Bundesliga and has been observed by Bayern scouts for some time now.
He’s already bagged a double in a 3-3 draw against Vincent Kompany’s side this season and has plenty of people watching his ongoing and impressive development.
They’ve been linked with a move for months as Mohamed Salah’s contract situation is yet to be resolved, and are known to have already spoken to Marmoush’s agents about a potential move.
Bayern could provide competition and see him as the ‘cheap’ option as there is a belief he would be available for €40-50m. Whether that’s the same price Liverpool could get him for isn’t mentioned.
Either way they may now face competition from Bayern, and it’s seen as a straight battle between the two for him in the coming months.
