‘It’s a shame’ – Disappointment over ‘irreplaceable’ player joining Leeds United

Largie Ramazani arrived at Leeds United from UD Almería in the summer window and signed a contract until 2028.

The Whites sold Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United and replaced him with the 23-year-old. He has scored three goals and registered an assist from five games for Leeds so far.

Within the report, it’s explained why the La Liga side decided to let him join Danile Farke’s side.

The attacker managed four goals and five assists for the Spanish club last season, who were relegated from La Liga. He’d entered his final year of contract before he was sold to the Championship side for €8m.

According to Almería CEO Mohamed El Assy, the Belgian would have extended his deal if he’d not moved to Leeds this summer. However, they decided to sell him to the Whites, so they didn’t ‘cut off the progression’ of the player.

Cadea Ser state ‘it’s a shame’ that the Segunda División side had to sell the Belgian to Leeds. They believe Ramazani would have been a key player under manager Rubi, if he had decided to stay at Almería.

Therefore, Almería seem to be disappointed over losing Ramazani to Leeds.
