Pablo Sarabia arrived at Wolverhampton Wanderers from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2023, when Julen Lopetegui was in charge at Molineux.

Last August, Wolves appointed Gary O’Neil as Lopetegui’s successor. Sarabia played 36 games in all competitions last season, managing four goals and 10 assists in the process.

His game time at Wolves has been restricted this season. The forward has clocked in 28 minutes from two Premier League games and made two more appearances in the EFL Cup.

Sarabia is ‘not happy’ with his situation at the English club. That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, who state Sevilla are willing to offer him an escape route in January.

Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta is ready to sign players in the winter market, despite the club’s difficult financial situation. He wants to help manager García Pimienta and will therefore try to work some deals out.

The Wolves player and Levante UD attacking midfielder Carlos Álvarez are the two names being passed around ‘quite strongly’ in the corridors of power.

Sarabia has less than a year left on his Wolves deal. The 32-year-old was at the La Liga side between 2016 and 2019 and impressed during his time there.

Sevilla intend to bring Sarabia man back to the club in January. Since his deal is expiring in 2025, Wolves may open the exit door in the next window, to avoid losing him for free at the end of this season.
