SporunDibi claim Galatasaray have agreed a deal with Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany, and now they are waiting on Pep Guardiola to allow the transfer.
The 31-year old has once again struggled with injuries throughout the season, but he finally managed to return to the Manchester City side in the closing stages of the campaign, so an exit would be a surprise.
Kompany’s return has given Manchester City much needed stability in defence, which has helped Guardiola’s team secure Champions League qualification.
However, SporunDibi say his future at Manchester City is not clear because of his past injury record. Guardiola may consider his availability at the moment to be a ‘bonus’, but he can also let the player leave in the next window. The Turkish club have also been linked with Real Madrid’s Pepe.
Galatasaray are currently waiting on Guardiola to decide on Kompany and if the Belgian doesn’t remain with the Premier League club, SporunDibi claim Galatasaray is his likeliest destination.
