West Ham United are among the clubs chasing Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu, according to a report from Turkey.

The left-back has ended up on the radar of several clubs, including the Premier League side.

That’s according to Fotospor, who explain that West Ham are one of nine clubs to have ‘officially knocked’ on the Istanbul club’s door for the 24-year-old.

The Turkey international has two more years left on his deal and Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç claims he’s one of the players who “cannot leave unless there is an astronomical figure.”

Koç didn’t specify any figures, and Fotospor suspect a fee around €30m is needed to take the player away from the Turkish club.

With regards to the Hammers, they have officially approached the Yellow Canaries, and there’s no indication if they are willing to offer an ‘astronomical’ fee for the fullback.

As well as West Ham, FC Porto and Napoli have made approaches, and the report states the latter have so far made the best offer, which is less than €20m with bonuses included.

Earlier claims indicated Arsenal were the favourites to sign Kadıoğlu, but Fotospor say they haven’t sent an official offer to Fenerbahçe so far.
