Sevilla are ‘open to selling Youssef En-Nesyri this summer if West Ham United do make a bid for him.

That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who say the Spanish side are more than open to selling to Julen Lopetegui if his reported interest in the Moroccan is genuine.

Several reports have made it clear that Lopetegui may go shopping at his former club this summer when he arrives at West Ham to replace to David Moyes.

En-Nesyri is a long-term target for the Hammers, having bid to get him on three separate occasions but seen themselves turned down by Sevilla and then the player in previous transfer windows.

The situation is different this summer, though, as he’s entering the final year of his deal and Sevilla near to raise funds to help balance the books.

Indeed, according to Estadio Deportivo, director of football Victor Orta is already working on potential sale and En-Nesyri is one of the names on his list.

He and Sevilla are more than aware of the reports in England and a potential bid from West Ham to reunite the player with Julen Lopetegui and are ‘open to selling’ if a good offer comes in.

They have €5m left to pay off En-Nesyri on the books so a sale would generate a large income for the club and a lot of capital gains, just what Orta is looking for to resolve the current issues and renew the squad.

It’s up to West Ham, or any other suitors, to make an appropriate bid, but Sevilla are almost encouraging them to do so at this point.
