The recent reports from the English media claiming Arsenal are interested in Martin Zubimendi are not making much impact in Spain.
Following the initial claims, outlet Marca now includes the rumour in their live transfer market commentary, saying that’s actually a ‘cold, cold’ story.
The Spanish outlet writes that despite the reports about Arsenal’s interest, that transfer ‘does not seem to be imminent’.
The player was also recently linked to Bayern Munich, and the report claims none of the transfers are likely, as he’s been showing his ‘evident’ commitment to the La Liga side.
It’s pointed out that even with some physical discomfort, Zubimendi is still travelling with Real Sociedad’s squad for the upcoming games, showing he’s fully focused on this season.
So it seems Arsenal may have to wait until the summer before going for the midfielder, unless they show up with a huge offer which really shakes the entire scenario.
