Earlier this week, Norwich City manager Johannes Hoff Thorup hinted to the Danish media that his side could sign Emiliano Marcondes.
The Championship side’s boss has previously said he’s held talks with the 29-year-old. The attacking midfielder has been without a club since leaving AFC Bournemouth as a free agent in June.
Norwich City interest has been repeatedly reported, and fresh report from Tipsbladet claims he could join the Canaries on a free transfer.
It’s claimed injuries to Ashley Barnes and Onel Hernández has seen the English club act.
Johannes Hoff Thorup knows Marcondes from their time at FC Nordsjælland, and the Dane is now ‘close’ to making a switch to Norwich City.
The report further states all that’s left is ‘last small details’ before the move can be completed and presumably then an announcement will be made.
Tipsbladet say Marcondes is close to becoming a new Norwich City player, and now it looks like this signing is imminent.
