France’s RMC are claiming on Monday that both PSG and Chelsea have opened talks to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. The talks are said to be with entourage of the Chile international, rather than with Arsenal directly.

Sanchez has one year left on his contract at Arsenal and has in recent months shown his frustration with the Gunners’ difficult season. RMC believe Arsenal, if they have to sell Sanchez, would rather see him go to PSG than Chelsea, not wanting to sell to one of their Premier League rivals.

RMC even quote someone they say is close to the player, explaining Sanchez would look kindly on a potential PSG switch.

Sanchez’s agent is said to have met ‘several times’ with PSG, and there’s another meeting scheduled for the middle of April, whereas Chelsea have been in talks with the player’s entourage. Antonio Conte is said to ‘love’ the profile of the player.

RMC believe Arsenal would ask for at least €50m to sell Sanchez this summer.
