There was talk of a medical being booked, and a potential rush to get the transfer over the line, as the Red Devils look to sort out multiple deals on deadline day.
Altay Bayindir has already been announced, with Sergio Reguilon to follow soon after, and the third could be Amrabat, as explained by Gazzetta dello Sport.
It’s added the Premier League side are ‘determined’ to sign the player, whom Erik ten Hag ‘likes so much’, but cannot do so permanently due to FFP reasons.
Down the Serie A side’s end, they are ‘only considering’ a full sale, for ‘no less than €40m’, which is far from what Manchester United are prepared to put on the table.
For the time being, ‘negotiations continue’ in hope that an agreement can be struck before midnight, so that the player can get his wish and play for the Red Devils, at least for this season.
