Currently on their midseason break, the Russian league still have a whole month of transfer fun left.
Yesterday, we covered the news that QPR defender Steven Caulker could be on his way to Lokomotiv Moscow, after the Russian side posted a tweet hinting heavily at the signing of an English player.
Posting a picture of a player with his face covered, Lokomotiv toyed with their fans after news the defender could be on his way out from Loftus Road had already emerged in England.
With their transfer deadline day being on the 28th of February, the Russian side are taking their time to announce the deal, and continued to play with their fans’ nerves on Wednesday by filming their defender Vedran Corluka on a ‘Skype session’ with their new signing speaking in English.

Captioning it with ’Skype-call with old new friend’, the club are leaving little doubt as to the identity of the player, considering both Corluka and Caulker spent time together at Tottenham.
The QPR centre-back, who started his career at White Hart Lane, spent four years with Corluka at Spurs between 2008-2012.
