It’s bad timing for the midfielder, who is ‘experiencing a downturn’ in his career and hasn’t been able to fix it at Arsenal.
One goal and one assist is not a good return for the money they spent, and he now finds himself ‘relegated to the bench’ as a result.
AS say that should be a warning sign, and he needs to ‘get his act together’ before further competition arrives, and he finds himself in the same situation he was in at Real Madrid, where he was ‘constantly pushed aside’ by the big signings.
This feels like a little bitterness from the Spanish media.
