Manchester City’s Ivan Ilić is attracting attention from both Hellas Verona and Torino.
The 20-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan at Hellas Verona and his displays have convinced the Serie A side to sign him again in the ongoing window.
He played under the orders of Ivan Jurić, and the manager left the Serie A side to join the Turin club in May.
Torino’s interest in the midfielder is driven by their current coach, and that may become a problem for Hellas Verona.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Serbia international is at crossroads, between his ‘old mentor’ Jurić and Hellas Verona sporting director Tony D’Amico, who is ‘trying to have him again’.
It’s explained Torino are ‘concretely interested’ in giving Ilić to their manager, so much so that they have a meeting scheduled with his agent later this week.
Hellas Verona, for their part, are trying to convince Pep Guardiola’s side to let the player go out on another temporary deal.
The Citizens are ready to allow Ilić leave this summer, if the conditions set by them are met. TMW state City are asking for €10m, a fee both Italian clubs ‘would not want to pay’.
