As said in a big headline of O Jogo’s Thursday edition, Manchester United target Bruma has revealed he’d be keen on joining José Mourinho.
But to be fair to the player, he was very much induced to say so.
The Galatasaray winger gave an interview to the newspaper and talked about several subjects, especially regarding his future in European football.
One of the first questions of the interview was especially about Manchester United and Tottenham, as both clubs have been recently linked to the player.
So O Jogo questioned if he’d like to be trained by José Mourinho: “Of course. Any player would love to work with him. It would be an honour for me, but, while it doesn’t happen, I’m focused here.”
Asked to confirm if the Premier League is his favourite league, Bruma said: “Yes, at the moment it is, because I’ve already played in Spain. I’d perfectly fit in English football.”
O Jogo have also quizzed the 22-year-old if the €35m price set by Galatasaray would make things harder for a move out of the Turkish club: “Can’t run from that, that’s what the club want. If I am where I am, it’s a merit of my work, then they ask for more. What can I do? Only to work even more and grow.”
Speaking to Sport Witness last week, Bruma’s agent Catio Baldé confirmed the player’s wish to play in the Premier League, but said that no official contacts from English clubs have been made so far.
