Glen Kamara has been one of the ‘revelations of the season’ at Rangers, claims France Football.
The defensive midfielder has made 39 appearances in all competitions and has been a regular figure in Rangers’ starting XI in league fixtures this season.
Several clubs are interested in his profile and this includes Marseille. It’s claimed the 24-year-old’s profile pleases André Villas-Boas’ side.
The Ligue 1 side ‘notably followed’ Kamara when he featured for Finland in the European qualifiers.
Rangers paid around €50,000 to Dundee for the player in January 2019, and the report states Steven Gerrard’s side could earn a hefty profit, if they decide to sanction his sale in the upcoming window.
The player has a contract until 2023 at Ibrox and France Football state he is currently valued at around €8-10m.
For the French club to land Kamara, they need to raise funds by allowing a few of their own players to leave. Despite the financial difficulties, it’s claimed Marseille are trying to strengthen the squad as per Villas-Boas’ wishes.
