According to Turkish website Ajansspor, Stoke City player Giannelli Imbula has rejected the chance to join Gaziantep FK.
Last week it was reported the Super Lig side were interested in the DR Congo international, but Ajansspor now claim the player has snubbed their advances because he feels the wages the Turkish club are offering are too low.
The 27 year old wasn’t a part of Fabio Liverani’s squad last weekend when his current club Lecce faced Inter Milan. Imbula is on loan with the Serie A side for the season.
This season the Stoke City owned player has made just three appearances for Lecce, and he could be on the move again to find himself a new club in this transfer window.
Stoke City paid €25m to FC Porto sign him in 2016, and he failed to make an impact during his time with the Potters.
Imbula’s contract with the Championship side will expire at the end of next season.
