German striker Renat Dadashov should be rejoining Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window, according to claims today.
Sections of the Portuguese media, including website Mais Futebol, are claiming that Paços Ferreira are cutting short his loan spell, which was supposed to run until next summer.
The Liga NOS side are making some adjustments for the second part of the season and Dadashov is one of the loanees who are being sent back to their parent clubs.
Mais Futebol says the player hasn’t even trained on Monday, so he should be returning to England very soon.
Dadashov has made eight appearances for Paços de Ferreira, being seven in the league and one in the cup, but he couldn’t manage to score in the 292 minutes played.
The striker was signed by Wolves from Estoril in August, and the club decided to keep him in Portugal for more experience, since he’s still 20 years old. That’s why we wouldn’t be surprised to see him loaned out again in January.
