The updates on Philippe Coutinho’s situation at Barcelona continue to come from everywhere. Especially from the Brazilian, the Spanish and the French media.
Earlier today, we covered claims from the South American country saying the player’s move to Paris Saint Germain is becoming very unlikely because Barcelona don’t have the money to make the Neymar transfer happen, as well as the French side not willing to spend much on a separate deal for Coutinho.
It’s also been claimed that a move to Bayern Munich didn’t sound very possible, since despite an approach, the German side didn’t continue the talks for his signing.
But some developments have been happening today, according to a report from Jorge Nicola this Friday afternoon.
The ESPN journalist says the negotiations between Bayerm Munich and the player ‘got hot in the past hours’.
This is a transfer that could ‘complicate’ Barcelona’s deal with PSG for Neymar’s return to the Camp Nou, since Coutinho is one of the French side’s targets.
Jorge Nicola doesn’t make it clear what Barcelona’s stance is on this. They will probably let Coutinho negotiate with Bayern, but we wonder if they will hold onto him until the negotiations with PSG are really over.
