Largely forgotten about in Spain with the Neymar rumours circulating, Paul Pogba can take some solace in the fact the Italian media will always be there to talk about him.
The Manchester United star recently expressed a desire to try something new elsewhere, setting a couple of tongues wagging around Europe.
Unfortunately for the midfielder, few clubs, if any, can afford what the Red Devils are asking for the France international’s services, leaving him a bit stranded in the no man’s land that is Old Trafford these days.
That won’t stop Juventus from trying, however, as Gazzetta dello Sport reiterate the Serie A champions’ desire to bring back their former prodigy, if they can, in what has now become known as #Pogbis.
A few conditions were set in these meetings, namely that the Premier League club want a lot of money for their player (around €140m), which has led Juventus to ‘think about inserting a player’ in the potential deal.
That name ‘could be Douglas Costa’, as it’s hardly a secret the Red Devils need a right-winger for their attack, but the Brazilian missed most of last season through injury, meaning he’s hardly the most appealing asset in Juventus’ squad these days.
It’s the same old tricks, as this isn’t the first time the former Shakhtar star has been mentioned as a potential makeweight in a deal for Pogba.
Manchester United didn’t bite back then, and we doubt they will now.
