Two days ago, we carried a report from AS, who claimed that Real Madrid have a ‘verbal agreement’ with Christian Eriksen for a summer transfer.
He has one year left on his Tottenham Hotspur contract and the same newspaper reported on May 2nd that Daniel Levy will demand in excess of €100m to sanction his transfer.
Friday’s edition of AS once again relays that Spurs are demanding over €100m for the Denmark international.
The report further explains the 27-year-old’s ‘price could rise’ if Mauricio Pochettino’s side make it to this season’s Champions League final. For this to happen, they have to overcome Ajax.
Donny van de Beek’s goal in the 15th minute helped his side take a 1-0 lead from the first leg and also gave Ajax an advantage of having a crucial away goal.
This is AS’ take on Eriksen, but it is well known that negotiating with Levy for a Tottenham player is not an easy task.
