Tuesday’s editions of Mundo Deportivo and Sport both reported that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jović is on the list of summer targets for Barcelona.

The German club took the forward on a two-year loan deal from Benfica in 2017 and as part of the deal, the transfer can be made permanent for €12m at the end of the season.

Wednesday’s edition of Sport claims the Serbia international is also on the radar of Real Madrid as the European champions are chasing the 21-year-old, who has scored 14 goals in the Bundesliga this season.

It’s explained the sports management of the Catalan club and Los Blancos ‘like’ Jović and also Nicolas Pépé of Lille, who has been in fine form in Ligue 1 this season.

Barca have been following his progress since the start of this campaign and already have an agreement with the French club that will see Lille keep their Spanish counterparts informed about any movements related to Pépé’s future.

It was known at the Camp Nou that Bayern Munich are leading the race for the Ivory Coast international, but in the past few days, they’ve been told that an emissary on behalf of Real Madrid has asked Lille about the conditions for the attacker’s transfer.

The French club’s president Gerard López has said on numerous occasions that Pépé will not be sold for anything less than €50m.

Sport claims the interest from Real Madrid in Pépé could be motivated by the possible sale of Gareth Bale in the summer.

Jovic and Pepe are not a priority for Barcelona, but things could change from now until the end of the season.
