With Mousa Dembele leaving for China, Mauricio Pochettino now looks for a new midfielder to join him at Tottenham Hotspur.
And Italian website Inter Live claims to know three of the men on the manager’s list.
It’s said that Juventus midfielders Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira would be two of them, while the Inter Milan player who the Argentine boss wants is Matias Vecino.
Inter Live makes it clear that it’s not the Nerazzurri’s intention to sell Vecino, who’s much appreciated by manager Luciano Spalletti. However, offers are offers, and the Italian side will listen to all of them.
Now if Spurs do land Vecino, then Giuseppe Marota, who’s now Inter Milan’s director, would try to sign either Matuidi or Khedira to replace him.
Inter Live doesn’t make it clear who’s Pochettino’s first, second or third option. They just report the names and the consequences that one of these transfers would have.
They also claim that Tottenham are not planning to spend big in January.
