Shortly after news that José Mourinho and Mario Balotelli had a little gathering regarding the Italian striker’s future, news of renewed interest from Italy is surfacing.
According to Il Messaggero, the player’s super agent re-offered his controversial client to the Rome-based club yesterday, and they’re considering it, seemingly on a loan.
Their search for a new winger still hasn’t come to an end, but it’s the possibility of Baldé Keita leaving the club that has reignited the Balotelli interest, despite other clubs such as Bologna and Wolverhampton (we’re not so sure about this one) hovering.
The agent would apparently prefer a move to Lazio for his client out of the three, and Il Messaggero claim Raiola is already trying to convince Liverpool to pay a big chunk of Balotelli’s wages for the duration of the loan.
Talk of a possible buyout clause is mentioned, but that appears to be a future problem i.e. if Liverpool agree to loaning their striker out.
It’s not much, but it’s a bit of hope for the Italian striker.
