Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traoré has a deal expiring at the end of this season and there is no clarity over his long-term future at the club.
He has featured in every fixture since Julen Lopetegui took charge at Wolves, but has largely been restricted to a substitute’s role.
The 27-year-old’s situation has attracted attention of other clubs in the Premier League and across the continent. Napoli are one among them.
Alfredo Pedullà has a report discussing the Serie A side’s interest and also the English club’s plans to retain him beyond this season.
It’s claimed Wolves have already proposed ‘several’ renewal offers, but the Spaniard has kept rejecting it.
Lopetegui’s side are desperate to hold on to the attacker. Therefore, they ‘will offer’ him another proposal to extend the deal, but there’s no mention of whether the former Barcelona man will change his mind.
Napoli, meanwhile, remain in the background and have been there since last November. They have no intention to give up as the Naples club’s plan is to sign Traoré for free in the summer.
