Rayan Aït Nouri is expected to leave Angers in the final days of the transfer window, according to claims from France today.

Last month, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Barcelona were discussed as potential destinations for the 19-year-old.

The Catalan club’s interest was driven by Eric Abidal, who had identified the France U21 international as one of the targets to be Jordi Alba’s backup at left-back.

Abidal has left Barca, but the Catalan club still maintain an interest in the youngster, if reports are to be believed.

According to Le10 Sport, the youngster is courted by several clubs across Europe, with the final battle between Wolves, Ronald Koeman’s side and Bayer Leverkusen. The report adds the fullback ‘should be transferred to one of these three clubs’.
