Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion are chasing Mjällby AIF’s Abdoulie Manneh, according to Africa Foot.

The forward left Gambian side Wallidan FC to join Mjällby in January 2024 and managed nine goals and two assists from 37 games of which seven goals and an assist are from this year.

Wolves and Brighton have taken notice of the 20-year-old’s performances and are keeping a close eye on him.

In fact, the report states the Premier League duo have sent a ‘large delegation of scouts’ to monitor him live in recent weeks.

Africa Foot say the Gambia international’s pace, technique and composure in front of goal, coupled with his ability to operate across multiple attacking positions make him a ‘real asset’ for a manager. They are certain Manneh’s future will be in a prestigious league.

Wolves and Brighton have started taking necessary steps and have to step up further if they wish to secure his services in the summer window.

Last month, we covered claims from Sweden that Wolves are keen on signing Manneh, who prefers a move to the Premier League in the future.
