Rumoured Leicester City target Noni Madueke wants to leave PSV Eindhoven this summer if he’s not guaranteed first-team football in future.
That’s according to Voetbal International journalist Marco Timmer, who says a €20m offer from the Foxes would be hard for the Dutch club to refuse.
Madueke has been linked with Leicester over the past few weeks, with a report at the end of last month stating that the Foxes interest is ‘concrete’.
It was claimed that Brendan Rodgers’ side and several others around Europe are all keen on the 19-year-old, who could be available for as little as €20m.
That price tag was pointed out by De Telegraaf at the beginning of the month, who backed up Leicester’s interest in Madueke and stated he can be got for €15-20m if they want him.
Now Timmer has confirmed as much, too, stating that the player wants a move away if he is not guaranteed the first-team football he thinks he deserves.
“He definitely wants more playing time,” he told VI Live, relayed by Voetbal Primeur.
“He chose PSV because he wanted to develop in the first team. He really wants to leave if he is not going to play.
“There will come a time when you can’t say no. If Leicester City want to pay twenty million, then you can’t say no.
“There are a lot of Champions League clubs thinking about him, and he’s worth a lot of money. A club like Arsenal coming rattling the moneybag, what then?”
