Norwich City have reached an agreement with Sporting Club de Portugal for Vladan Kovacevic to join the Canaries this summer.
That’s according to A Bola, who report that Norwich are set to pay €2.4m for the 27-year-old goalkeeper. That could rise beyond €3m with bonuses and 10% of any profit on a future sale.
This is backed up by journalist Sebastião Sousa-Pinto, who reports that the clock is ticking on the transfer. According to his information, Kovacevic has already travelled to England to undergo a medical with Norwich.
That is booked in for tomorrow and the final step for the transfer as everything is in order between Norwich and Sporting.
Kovacevic has spent the second half of this season on loan at Legia Warsaw after falling down the pecking order at Sporting and being allowed to leave. He had only joined Sporting in July from Raków in a €4.81m deal.
Now he’s destined for England and the Championship with Norwich, who have finalised a transfer agreement with Sporting and booked the player in for a medical on Wednesday ahead of completing the deal.
