On Tuesday morning, we covered reports from Italy which said Torino chief Davide Vagnati has been in London to speak to West Ham about Nikola Vlasic.
The midfielder is having a loan spell at the Serie A side which even includes a buying option, but to avoid any competition, the Turin side are already in talks to get the deal done, maybe for less than the €15m clause.
It turns out we now get to see another update about this meeting, with TuttoMercatoWeb bringing a few more details of the conversation between Vagnati and West Ham.
It’s claimed that the Torino director was also trying to figure out whether the Hammers could be interested in taking Sasa Lukic as part of the deal.
TuttoMercatoWeb labels that an ‘useful move’ for Vlasic’s stay in Turin, as that could guarantee a discount in that operation.
For now, however, the report doesn’t say whether the West Ham ended up being interested in accepting Lukic in exchange.
The midfielder has recently been linked to Leeds United, and a move to the Hammers now would actually be quite surprising.
